Ok my toppic is gunna be on 3 different cars they are cars I'm looking into getting and one I own at this second my questions are
Is there any better rc car than the 4tec 3.3 is there any better stadium truck than the jato 3.3 and any better monster truck than the revo 3.3

I'm with theese cars looking speed handling and for the 4tec as well as speed and everything drifting

Any of the major brand 1/10 scale touring cars (HPI, Losi and Associated) are all better than the Nitro 4tec, IMO.

There are also better stadium trucks than the Jato. The Jato is known to have a relatively weak front end setup.

The Revo is probably one of the best racing monster trucks out of the box. I have a bit of a soft spot for them because mine was the first Nitro I ever owned.

the jato has some weak spots. the bigest one is the breaks. fix it , . get “hot racing” duel break kit sjt39ds, toss the spring and or fuel hose on the break rod. replace it with an aluminum tube .6 long, then readjust.

ok now are the jato and 4tec weak in speed or handling I'm more of a speed freak thats y my real car is a supra lol but what I'm asking is whats wrong with the jato and 4tec to other cars like it

I would say that they are weak in both. I have never seen a 4Tec in a race situation which leads me to believe that it doesn't have either good enough handling, top speed or acceleration.

And, they are weak in quality. I have personally seen many parts on several different models break repeatedly. I actually put my SCT away. I refuse to spend anymore money on Traxxas... parts or vehicles. This has been my experience. Not saying this is the way all Traxxas models are. They just look good, but build is poor. They want you to buy their upgrades and replacement parts. Like posted earlier, (Losi, HPI, Associated). These are better, way better.

For the Revo, a real favorite is the Picco .26 Maxx. Gobs of power and will bolt right in with just a motor mount change.

I personally like the jato myself but it was my first 2wd buggy, I do own the rs4 3evo instead of a 4tec, the 4tec is belt driven and the rs4 is shaft, I dont trust the belt drive system, dont get me wrong the 4tec looks cool but I would have to run one to have it impress me before I would buy one.. The revo I have heard some good things about but I still stick with my maxx's lots of fun, have worked on a revo before but never drove it... all just my opinion!!! I think the firestorm looks cool too would like to try one... Good luck picking!!!

Ty for all ur help I'm still wondering best motor out there for speed in let's say the 4tec I already own is the trx 3.3 the best motor or no?

And as for the belt thing yes I hate the belts my rear wheel drive one snapped durring high speed play and my front tires ripped to shreads

After owning the following back in the early 2000s: Nitro 4-Tec, Nitro Rustler, and a T-Maxx, I would say the only thing that has probably changed is the engine on these things. All were pretty durable and nothing ever broke on them except when I crashed the 4-Tec going full throttle into a parking curb. I destroyed the front servo, but bought a new one and some spare parts and it was good to go again. Is there something better than a Nitro 4-Tec and a Revo 3.3? IMHO, yes. The Losi Ten T is heads up better than them. Remote starting, the engine doesn't have a ridiculous break in requirement and it handles like it is on rails. Plus, I haven't had to retune the engine yet. AND, the radio it comes with is way better than the Traxxas TQ system. BTW, I own 4 of the Traxxas 1/16th models and love them so, no, I am not a Traxxas hater. However, I was thinking about getting a Traxxas Slayer Pro, but just the tedium of breaking in the engine is stopping me.

Ok then is there a better motor for speed out there than the trx 3.3

i have an engine for sale thats basically a picco .26 maxx, its a picco/omega x2 .26 maxx. its made to drop in in replacement of the trx 3.3 in the tmaxx so i dont see how it can't replace other trx 3.3's. I had one of these in my tmaxx befor and a normal picco 26 maxx and found this one to be slightly more powerful. heres a link to it on ebay http://cgi.ebay.ie/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280709883254&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT
I think its very fairly priced compared to the normal piccos, and it cost me a lot more when i bought it.

The motor mounts are different for the various vehicles the 3.3 fits in.

Oh I get you now, well it has standard mounting holes as are on all 1/8th engines, so if you get the mount for a revo or tmaxx or any mount that fits the vehicle in question will work
