is rustler better than firestorm

hi i was wondering if the traxxas rustler is better for racing then the HPI firestorm. and which is more durable, and which ones more fast for drag racing

No, it'll fall apart. Traxxas 1/10th trucks are too fragile. Everyone who brings a Traxxas Rustler to our track takes it home in multiple pieces. The Firestorm is very durable, even in the hands of a new racer.

thanks alot i was hoping to get that answer because i can do easy pay at tower hobbies for the firestorm but not the rustler

Rustler would probably be a little faster, but the Firestorm is more durable.

seems like every other time i drive my rusty i nave to fix something. I dont know anything about fire storms tho but they have to be tougher then a rusty.

Ya traxxas is very fragile, I have a t-maxx and I have seen what some people do to their savages and I wouldn't even think about doing that to my t-maxx because it would break.

Wow, I had my nitro Rusty as my 1st "real" rc and it was not fragile at all. Bashed it, then ran it at the local track and punted that thing into the pipes and wall many times and it never really missed a beat as I learned to race.
If your going to DRAG race, i think the Rusty has more than enough power , so who would care about durability?

But HPI makes quality stuff, I dont think either would be a bad choice, good luck with the Firestorm!!
