Here are some pictures of my Hyper 7 in two different configurations.

First we have it nearly as I got it used....it has new knuckles and wheels and a new wing. I also went thru the fuel lines and servo savers ad replaced them as needed. This buggy HAULS!!!! and handles nicely.

This is it with 23mm hexes and a new lid. It has truggy tires.......any feedback on the 23mm hexes and handling?? I have not tried it out yet...just put them on last night.

You'll need to watch the gearing. The final drive ratio and the bigger tires may cause issues. Watch you don't blow the mill.

Well that is the sort of thing i was thinking.........I was really just fooling around with the hexes....I had them from a trade awhile ago.......

I will probably go back to original tires and wheels and save for that mugen mbx5T I have been dreaming about..;)

Thanks for the heads up though....

Mike

i'd watch out with those huge tyres. Tyres affect the gearing ratio and you have just made it higer, putting more pressure on the engine and more pressure on the diff's

wow... got a little camera happy, huh mike? that thing looks cool as hell with those tires on there... but i'd be nervous to run it.

plus... what's the point? it's a buggy. run it like a buggy and experience what has given it so much praise as a buggy, right?

you have a revo for the bigger stuff ;)

If you get these:

You can gear it down a bit but gain the extra ground clearance. That's what I did when I had an HB lightning. It got around much better because it was a little taller. I went down to a 12T bell and it got around OK with an OS 21RG in it.

With those wheels/tires, you don't have to worry so much about over extending the axles and putting strain on the arms and bearings like you do with the extenders.

This one was dead along time ago...........amazing how the odd comment creeps up ...;)

Nice touch there Jet....

Its awesome. You did that with spray paint? How? I found bodies painted sick like that, but they were $100 plus

he has it as a buggy and a truggy so he can race 2 classes in a same race day. at least thats a point to have a buggy. if u bash it your a loser

if u bash it your a loser

Can we make room in the RCNT Forum awards for another category? Like...

Most ignorant comment of the year

ok, smartass comments aside. C'mon man, that's just silly don't ya think. I guarantee that there are more buggy bashers on this site than buggy racers. That makes them all losers? We all have fun with our buggies, and not everybody has the time, resources, or ability to go race them
