What's up RCNT! I finally got my shocks from Rob today in the mail and all I can say is DAMMM!!!

These things are supper tough, maybe even bullet proof! They're made from aluminum, steel and delrin. They feature built in oil seals in the lower cap, bleed hole in the upper cap and a massive ass pen size shock shaft.

Enjoy the shock porn ;)

This is what's included in the packaging.

Machined aluminum cap and body with a delrin spring perch makes for a super silky smooth adjustments, notice the oil bleed hole in the corner.

If I ever manage to break these bad boys and that's a big ass IF, it's all good because everything from IRC is backed by a "no questions asked" lifetime warranty.

Peep out IRC's website: http://www.innovative-rc.com/cars-trucks-savage-c-27_52.html

Thanks Rob!!!

They look nice! How are the shock springs? And can you fit different stiffness of springs on them?

Wow 120£ that's almost $200 Canadian! That receipt would most definitely be hidden from the better half if I ordered them.

The spring rate is about 13lbs. IRC offers two more heavier springs as well, 29lbs and super beefy 49lbs spring.

I'm sure u can get any LST style spring to fit as these shock bodies have nearly the same dimensions.

This was actually one of the FEW parts the GF approved of LOL.

What did you use to mount them, I grabbed the FLM extended a-arms, and FLM savage towers, with LST standoffs
I'm just wondering if I need more hardware before I start building, my savage
I'd hate to get as far as the shocks and the have to stop and wait for parts?

Ya I know I forget to ask about hardware when I last talked to rob

I have the complete IRC set up...

Dunno about the FLM stuff. Pretty sure there LST conversion comes with hardware for the upper standoffs and a lower mount/spacers.

U should email Regina at FLM for more details...

Thanks bud, I send an email got a hold of a mike cronin (r/c-monster), he said that as long as they're the same as LST shocks I shouldn't have a problem.
My only consern is I haven't ever owned a set of LST shocks to know for sure

IRC webpage states that the same mounting kit to mount V2 shocks can be used to mount LST shocks, so I'm think it'll work out..
