To all those who know me, I have a dear friend that's not doing good at all right now. He's in the hopsital in ICU, and he's basically in a coma on life support. They had to ice down his body this morning to prevent organ failure, and the outcome is not looking good. The doctors and his family are saying that the best case scenario is that a miracle would happen, and even then if he can wake up he'll be on a ventilator for the rest of his life, which would be absolutely miserable for him. For those of you who are religious, I would really appreciate your thoughts and prayers for Bill and his family. The family is of course having a hard time as all of this kinda came about suddenly, he was at work doing fine on Friday.

Dang man, I'm sorry to hear about your friend. My niece went through a similar situation about a year and a half ago. There's a thread here entitled "and you thought your day was bad". She spent 10 days in the ICU Shock/Trauma unit, then 10 more in isolation in a kids ward (just a few days short of 18).

As a side note; she bought her first car, a Toyota Camry for $1,000 today.

Anyways, sorry for the derailment.. I'll keep a kind thought in mind for your friend amigo.

I hope your friend turns out to be just fine :) And Ill say something tonight before bed for him.

I am sorry to hear the bad news. Stuff like this shows just how fragile life really is.

My thoughts are with you, your friend and his family.

If you recall my thread from 3 weeks ago, you'll know that I understand what you and his family are dealing with right now. My thoughts are with you all.
