Usually used is the best way to go for beginners, otherwise either save up for a better more reliable one, or get that volcano. I have heard a few things about Red Cat but thats about it. Its still an off brand to me. I wouldnt get anything no one has any knowledge with so if you absolutely want one now instead of getting used or saving up for a way bettery one, than I suggest the Volcano.

The buggy that speed linked comes with extras and a fail safe. That's a must with nitro. And he says the engine is fresh. I would look at that one first.

i have a question if i buy an used buggy would i have to break in the enging yes or no?

would that link that spped put up for that buggy would it be good on a farm with bumps hills and alot of terrain?

Depends if they broke it in or not. The one I posted on ebay says new piston and sleve (basically means new engine) everytime the piston and sleve are replaced, engine break in is required just like an engine coming right out of the box. Like bergoff said earlier it comes with parts that is a must for nitro. Definately something to look into especially for a beginner. The Kyosho infernos are very good and very reliable, also the one I posted looks very clean, and very well maintained. If you do decide to look into getting it, maybe send the seller an email asking if its been broken in. You may want to hurry because I guarantee that will not be on ebay for very long. Its a steal for a beginner.

if i got that 1 you posted speed what else would i need to run it?

Not sure if it comes with batteries or not. You may want to ask them about that, if not, then you would need 12AA batteries and since your on such a low budget, if it comes with a switch that doesn't have a AA battery hook up with it, you can get a Traxxas one for $5

And the 8ight you just posted are amazing buggies, but the problem with the one you posted is, it isnt buy it now, there is 5 days left, and by then it will be at least $500 guaranteed

if i went with new would a tornado rc nitro buggy be a good 1st?

i put in an offer of $150 for that buggy that you posted off of ebay speed.

Probably not, I have never heard of it, and I am sure everyone hear would agree with me. That Kyosho is a steal, if you got a Tornado, you would end up spending $20 on a failsafe, $10 on a fuel filter, $25 on a glow heater, and $40 on fuel. Also it not being a familiar brand like Kyosho, who knows how durable it is. It also has a weak suspension, that Kyosho has big bore shocks and that tornado has small, weak looking shocks. Who knows how good or powerful of a motor is in that Tornado anyway. Used being used brings the value down, so a $800 rc would be around $400 used, spending $200 on a new, would probably only be worth $80-$100 at most. That Kyosho is a $500-$600 buggy I posted. Like I said, its a steal and I guarantee everyone here would agree with me on that one for a beginner.

the seller is offering it to me for $180 is that a good deal?

1 sucky part i dont get paid until next week. should i still accept his offer?

i am waiting for the guy to respond back to me if he will do that it is all mine.

Glad to know that I helped :D it will be a good buggy for you. Kyosho makes great products, and even took first in the ROAR national championship either this year or last year if I remember right. That buggy will be great for bashing and for racing. I sent you a friend request, so if you have any questions, go ahead and ask me, I'm always glad to help people out.
