Hi, i have an arrma senton with a cheap hobby fans Brushless motor and a BLX100 ESC brand new,the problem is when i turn it on it run for a few seconds normal, but then it goes slow until it stops, i can only steer. But if i turn it oof and on again, the same happens, runs good, slows down, stops and oly steer. I dont know what wrong with it, the batteries are new and fully charged, i think it migth be the motor, but i dont know

I've had the same issue with my Senton & the BLX100 ESC. They have a high LVC & also 'brown out' easily. Seems there was a number of people reporting the exact issue. Mine did what you described. Good battery. Good motor. All looks right, cuts out. I ended up swapping to a different ESC, fixed it.
Oh--- Welcome to RCT!

Didn't think about that.
OP could set it lower or disable it, if the esc is programmable 🤷

Or yes a new esc should fix that issue. Hobbywing 10BL120 G2 (sensorless version) would be my recommendation. Personally I'd get the 3660 combo and keep the HW motor as backup.

I forgot to mention, when it happens it starts to blink red

What's the kv and size of the motor? Maybe it's too much for the esc. Or can be the battery with voltage drop tricking the LVC.
It 3900kv

It 3900kv
Mine did that. It's a 3200kv but 3900kv is still fine. And I don't believe they are programmable & are discontinued from Arrma. Probably because of that reason.

That's a great choice. Amain coupon LABOR20 shown. Great ESC

3900 kv on 3 cell hmmmm
and the quality of battery? how many runs? ir #s

I dont run any 540 > motor on 3 cells over 3300kv..I can gear a 3000kv to match a 3900 kv all day long and my takeoff speed will be greater than higher kv
Do you people do any type of research on motors esc batteries?

Mine was brushes and i made it brushless using the blx100 esc and a cheap hobbyfans motor
Nothing wrong with that. 3900kv can handle 3s. I have those motors in other rigs, too, no issues. I think the BLX100 is probably the issue. They are hit or miss. Where did you get the ESC from?

I bougth it brand new from ebay
