ANYONE KNOWS that if you run a higher teeth CB you will lose torque but gain higher top speed... ANYONE who is a RC Expert knows if you run a SMALLER CB with bigger tires you will melt the shoes or destroy the spur or CB... EVERYONE knows now that YOU messed up on trying to call me out when in fact YOU didn't read my post [/QUOTE said:
Ok buddie oh big boss, let me correct you once more there o expert:

ANYONE who is a RC Expert knows if you run a SMALLER CB with bigger tires you will melt the shoes or destroy the spur or CB...

You my friend are wrong again when you run bigger tires you WANT to run a smaller cb,and also if you run a smaller you wont melt the clutch nor destroy the spurr or the cb...if you run a larger one then you will have the problems of melting the shoes and maybe damage to the cb due to heat,no it wont damage the spur...but i guess theres no sense in talking to you because your always going to be RIGHT ...
thanks vbgagnon is he blind or what i was just trying to help but he just to much of an expert for me I'm done with him its a waste of my time!!!

he gets it......

and YES....HB1111 is right about the whole tire gearing issue but in the case with the truckzilla kit, he is wrong...
what am i wrong about on the truckziia kit i never responded about the kit?you need to just put your foot in your mouth and shut up while people still think you actually know something!!

WHY???
Cause I have the kit and tried it...
Could you please let us know what you've tried? I'm guessing that you've tried the 6" tyres with the .46 engine (17T CB) and still not getting enough power to pull a guy on a wheeled chair/ do wheelies to flip the truck over.

Have you tried using 52T spur and 5.5" Maxx tyres? It's the closest thing to having a smaller CB.

this is the very first post question

Wassup Guys....

I would like to see if they made smaller CB and Spur gears for the Truckzilla and run smaller tires??

Anyone know??

did any of you answered my question????

reason I ask this cause I've ran it with smaller tires...

I am not happy with the result

I would like that know if they made a smaller CB for the .46 engine
cause you can't just buy any CB..
the CB is different then your 1/8th

My 2nd post

the Spur and gear combination on the truckzilla was made for the oversized tires...

if you run smaller tires, it will run like crap... no torque at all

you need to run a smaller combination to transfer the correct power...

then hb111 replied

hb1111 said:
if it was made for larger tire and you put smaller tires on it, it will have more low end torque and lose top end due to the smaller diameter, these things get confusing

I am saying no why...
the CB is 17T on a 52T Spur gear
17T is what was given for the truckzilla kit

now if you run the original Savage Tires 6" on a 52T Spur and 17T CB..
will you have more torque than a 15T CB on a 52T spur?

No you don't

hb1111 and everyone else is telling if you run smaller tires it will have more torque then the big tires..

okay i know that already

but I am telling you guys I am not happy with the result with it

that's why I ask if they made a smaller CB

you guys keep forcing the issue that doesn't apply to my question

it's about the truckzilla kit....

telling me something that doesn't apply to the truckzilla kit doesn't help me at all

Actually, the 17T CB and 7" tyres combination were made for the low RPM, high HP .46 engine... The .46 has so much power it can use big CB, small spur and huge tyres. Can't do that with small engines.

You're confusing people with this quote, which is probably why everyone was telling you otherwise. You should've told us that torque is what you wanted and that you're still not getting enough, even with smaller tyres.

So you knew that already? That's good. What everyone had said applies to all nitro cars, including the Truckzilla. The only thing which makes it different is the poor RPM and massive power, most people would want bigger CB to get higher top speed. So, you've tried 52T spur with 6" tyres and still not happy with the torque it produces? The only thing left to try is using 5.5" Maxx tyres since we can't change the CB...

Now that we've established the fact that we can only get 17T CB with the .46 engine, could you please let us know what you're trying to do? The stock .21 Savage can tow a guy on an office chair on asphalt. I think you should be able to do the same with the Truckzilla (especially with 6" tyres, 52T CB, 4.8HP engine) with ease.
