Sup guys,
Well.....I'm sitting here staring @ my beautiful new suspension set from UE. For the sale price of $179.00 they sure as hell weren't giving it away but I feel it was a fair buy all things considered. It also comes with Ti Turbuckles and Ti hingpins which I'll use on my drag race Maxx project or send them to a friend as I already have them.
Anyway.....I couldn't help but laugh when I was reading a little T-maxx blurb in an RC mag. SOmething to the effect of we'll take like 5...one for jumping...a street slammed maxx ect. Well, that's the beauty of the UE kit and the main reason I bought it..lol. I can slam this bitch down low with an awesome low center of gravity and even more width and stability for street racing and runs. Run it @ a medium height with a lower center of gravity for off road racing or crank it up for jumping....sweet. I now basically have three Maxx's in one.
The alluminum is 7075 T6 Aircraft grade. Stong as hell but their's still a theoretical possibility that I could bend an arm. Even assuming I could properly bend it back the actual molecular structure of the alluminum will be forever changed and strutural integrity compromised
THe point of all this. RPM as a company with their awesome break it and we'll replace it for free policy, we'll they kick ass. Their products are great and I'd reco most everything they make for the Maxx to anyone. I think it would be great if RPM made an adjustable Suspension kit like the UE kit I have now to offer Maxx enthusiasts the driving diversity and tunability that they crave.
So if RPM made a kit like that, would you buy it??
Peace
