Looks like it's prob. a tamiya. I don't know what model. I went to the hobby store to pick up 10 dollars worth of parts. He had it listed for 200 and ended up taking 115 for it. I figured the castle creations motor/esc was worth that. I wasn't really looking to buy. He said he wanted to get rid of it. Either way i'm happy with the purchase. I need to upgrade the shocks/tires It doesn't handle very well at all.

I would say it was a good deal for that price....however I WOULD get some shrink wrap on those exposed deans plug leads before you end up with a short that will burn the car to the ground.

I'll get some as soon as i remember, every trip i've made to the hobby store for them i forgot sept the last time, they were closed down. they weren't even on my mind today..... thanks for the reminder, i may pick some up tomorrow.

^^This

I'm no soldering pro, but that's just scary.

Some black electrical tape will work in the mean time, and I'd say you did well for $115 dollars...

Thanks guys, The owner of the hobby shop was really motivated to sell it. I prob. could have got it less but i didn't wanna rip the guy off. he is the one that told me 115. he told me to make a offer and i finally told him i didn't really need it and i knew my offer was a lowball offer and he was allready selling it for a good deal. i said 100 bucks, he said 114 you can have it. i couldn't complain, i thought about it and went ahead and bought it.

It Does Not Handle Well At All Though!!!!!!!!!! i was hoping you guys could give me some tips on wether i should put shocks/tires on this chassis or just sell it as a roller and put the motor/esc on another chassis?

??????????????

i wanna put this motor/esc on a better built car than this tamiya..

i found a hpi e10 on craigslist for sale, i wanna know if it will handle speeds of 60+mph stable...

the tamiya does not.
