Hey guys been a while since i have posted and now I'm up for some ideas on a new engine for my nitro sport.

I have built my nitro sport with aluminum parts and upgraded to the 2.5r engine. stronger servos and a great flysky receiver/transmitter. been a really enjoyable build. Only thing i need to put on is the 2speed transmission from the jato (going to be a tricky install)

After everything was put together and running, the rig isnt fast enough.. i was wondering if there is other engines that will drop in that will give me a heap more speed.

Also any different types of shocks and springs that will help the rig hug the road abit better? I also have a TMAXX 3.3 which i love and does the job for offroad bashing wouldnt mind setting up the nitro sport to a "on road' truggy. I will post some photos if you guys are intrested in the build

Any suggestions would be great Thanks :)

well i don't really have any suggestions for you....cuz i just don't know what would fit and work well....but id love to see some pics

Engine wise there are a lot of options but the aluminum is where the problem is because it is now a lot heavier. Also, as just said gearing will help

i guess new and more powerfull engine could be one way but i will do some research about the gearing... so small spur with larger CB cool hopefully does the trick ;)

here are just a few photos of the build hope you guys like

I have a sirio tx-18 in mine and it halls a**.nice rig it should run pretty good with that 2.5r in it.you sure you got a good tune on it they a a pain to tune.A 3.3 will fit in it as well.also i hear good things aboult the dynimite 2.19 it will drop right in also

Tuning wasn't fun at all... Was actually a pick. I reckon i got it running ok my engine temps sit around 210 - 230 with a few fast runs
