Hey how r u, I have a mini recon with a 5500kv brushless, I'm useing a venom 20c 2000mah 2s bat. What do u think a good gear ratio would be. I modified a 57 tooth aluminum gear from a Rc18t to fit. What's a good size pinion?

I use a 13/60 with a 6800kV Mamba Micro Pro on my RC-18t. I think it's still a bit tall and am going to drop it a couple of teeth on the spur. My RC-18r runs the same motor set up but I run a 11/55 gearing because of the smaller tires.

It's got issues with thermal shut down on the ESC. The motor is running about 150° F with a passive heat sink. I'm also running larger than stock 1/10 scale sedan wheels and tires on the -18t.
