I jumped down that rabbit hole decades ago. ( I still tell ppl I was pushed!) Its actually a tunnel to Asia! BETTER access to MORE R/C gear at LOWER prices!!!
No discounts on shipping tho.

My dad was a big camera nerd. He actually started a photo studio and took family pics and such. I was in awe of his $10k Canon setup. First time he let me put the camera in my hand I was scared I was gonna drop it. But the controls for adjusting the shot were completely baffling to me.

I scooped a giant photo developing table and stand to wash rc cars on!
Plans to throw a hose on it and put it in an out building near my someday track!

Those old Cannons were AWESOME! You could see billboards on Venus thru some of those lenses too!!! Dad was into photography too.

i have a Canon film camera that was used in the Vietnam war that i inherited. thing is beat to hell and still works liker a champ!

you can get good cameras now for pretty cheap. a fuji xt1 or 2 is dirt cheap and good camera. get a cheap 27 mm lens. the equivalent will be close to 35 mm on the crop sensor
