i want to know how to build a 2 speed trany for the rc10gt with the new era hobbies .21 convershion kit on. PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

First of all I don't know how to do what you want to do! I just wanted to ask WHY? I have a rc10GT and it SCREAMS why woud you want to take such a perfect truck and try to make it so fast that it won't be able to handle at all? Seems like wasted money to me that could be better spent on hop-ups that would actually increase performance and not decrease the parts life of what you already have

because i lowered the shock towers and i have it fully upgraded except for the tranny i spent 2g so i want a car that can go onroad and haul ass aswell as off by just changing the suspention

If you want something to "haul ass" but a bigger engine in it and change the gearing that will go just as fast as a 2 speed.

2K into a GT?
PLEASE post photos of this truck I have got to see what two thousand dollars of GT looks like.

I have raced the GT on road and Ill tell you there is no need for a two speed transmission. Sure you could most-likely get some TC3 parts and make it work. I have pushed the limits with a race ready paved oval GT and still had 1/4 of my throttle left.

Your best bet is to look at your existing gears and engine. If you can't exceed the limits of a road race setup on a GT you may want to re evaluate the equipment you have and the talent behind the screwdriver.

If you said you wanted to do it just because you wanted a project I would understand. People have done much crazier things. But to say you need it so it will haul ass on road says your setup is wrong or your not operating the equipment to anywhere near its capability's.

thankx for the imput but i race 1/8 scale on road cars (like proceed)and win all the time but everyone loses a few. i mean I'm the best in my country i have a few homes but I'm in trinidad now in the caribbean. (last island on chain). i make 100mph easly on a day to day baises and my gt is different than normal parts i had most custom made but the place that did it stoped. so now i can't get my 2 speed trany. and when i do I'm probly gonna make a record because isunt the fastest rc car going 110 or 120 mph?

and what stuff did u say that was even more crazy than what I'm doing?

Why in the hell are you running a .21 in a GT if your looking for speed?
