I need your prayers.

Ok my friends I was going to announce it to you guys a different way but I am desperate so here goes. My Wife and I just found out that we were pregnant a few weeks ago but wanted to see it through for a few more weeks. I was unbelieveably happy. Another child to bless our lives.

Yesterday my wife was in pain and we knew she had some sort of infection down there and was giving her discomfort. TUns out after an ultrasound,our baby maybe going through some problems. They are not sure as the embryo is too smal to find. They said that it could be a "threatened abortion" or possible miscarriage or ectopic, when the embryo does not make it to the uterus and gets lodged in the fillopian tube(sp?).

I have The Lord to grant us this miracle. I know that the power of prayer is so strong that I am asking those here that are God fearing to pray for our unborn child. I am so unbelievably scared but can not show my wife as she is on the edge herself. The Lord is the one that can grant us this miracle and I pray to Him for mercy.

I am going to try and keep up with the forum but forgive me if I do not reply soon enough.

I think you have just found how much we will all stick together. I pray all will go well. I have found that no trial in life is more trying than parenthood. Especially when you're waiting for the baby. With both of my girls my exwife had difficult times. Gestational diabetes. Preterm labor. Breech presentation. With both. And I prayed every day for each of those 9 months that all would be fine. By the time they came (both Caesarian) I was exhausted. I pray that good news comes your way soon.

Jon, my prayers are with you. Just remember that even though we may not understand gods will in what seems like a dire situation, in the end it is what's best. My wifes first pregnancy lasted but only 9 weeks. It was heart breaking to say the least. I knew this was our son, the same son we have today. Maybe he was not developing properly, maybe the lord was not ready to release him to our care. One year and 9 days after she miscarried, my wife gave birth to our son and he was big and healthy. He is 5 today, extremely smart, cute and most importantly, healthy. Just keep in mind, that no matter what happens, it will be what is best.
