I just bought a new nitro truck. wheni fisrt got it, it started. but it was idling to high and you would have to hold the break so it didnt roll forward. i tried to adjust it so it wouldnt do that. at one point i got it to not roll forward nut whe the break was applied it would die. and now i can't even get it started. it will crank over but dies right after i take the ignighter and starter off.

by the way i have a electric start HPI truck......

please help me..

If it dies right after you remove the glow warmer, it is probably a bad glow plug. Sometimes they will glow when on the warmer, but not work as they should without it.

Hello. If you backed out the idle screw then you may have went a lil to much. There should be about a 1 mm gap in the opening of the carb. If this is the first time you have ran your truck make sure you check out the stickys here about break in and tuning. You can try reseting the carb needles to there factory settings, setting the carb opening to the 1mm gap and then installin a new glow plug. Then go to the break in process from there. IF this isnt the first time you have ran you truck then just reset your carb and carb gap along with a new glow plug then see if she fires if so let her warm up and follow the tuning section here in the forums. Dont forget you have a lil bit of woggle room with the trims on your remote and dont be afraid to adjust your links.
