I need a bigblock which one?

poop, we'll figure something out for engine mounts. I bolted this same engine into 3 different cars, it is longer but I solved that with a different collet to move the flywheel back. Sorry bud, I hate this. I'll do what I can for you. Damn I hate Duratrax. The engine bolt holes on the Picco are standard for .21 and up size engines.
Is it that the engine case is so wide that you may need to dremel off some of the inside material from the engine mount to allow it to sit flush on the mount?
The wider case is because Picco made it to be strong with a larger main bearing than cheaper brands do like Axial, Duratrax( Thunder Tiger makes their engines). Thunder Tiger may make good plane engines but their car/truck engines are duds for performance.

Well i looked up some videos and found out that the engine mount needed a spacer well i took the washers off the top of the screws and put them between the motor and the mount and that fixed it but its temporarey. sometime soon i will buy sum spacers .... i also need some new motor mount screws because of the problem i was having and yes the thunder tigre motors are crap my craped out at about 1 1/2 gallons I was pretty upset!

I was looking at option parts for your buggy, specifically engine mounts. Duratrax does make a better engine mount set. I do not know if they will solve your problem but they look 10X better than the stockers.

Well I ran two tanks 1/4 first tank 1/2 second

Any good news? In this coooler weather 180-200 is spot on. it running that cool means you got a good one, no leaks.
Are you using the stock clutch or a good aluminum 3 shoe with some 1mm springs?

Yeah pretty good so far been running in the 180-220 as i said the only leak i see is around the glowplug, i see oil come up and buble around it but it is very small leak i was thinking about putting a dap of rtv on the threads? But its been running good so far i still have the stock clutch i will prob upgrade to an adjustable clutch. Its still kind of long but i will try to buy a .21 collet.

No RTV in that area ever. Tighten the GP more or replace the plug if it will not stop leaking. Check the Head bolts too. Lean it a bit , you are driving it right? Don't idle it, drive it! You may have a peice of trash under the GP washer or it just may be bad.
It should be moving the buggy pretty nicely by now, nothing exciting but reaching 15-20 mph pretty easy.
Adjustable clutches suck. Been there, one more headache to the equation. Ofna makes a flywheel for the Picco engines, it supposedly is thinner to solve the issue. That and a set of their silver al. shoes with 1 mm springs..It will launch hard, but not too hard.
I can tell you from firsthand experience that an HPI Savage flywheel will give you all the room in the world on the crankshaft. I had to shim it out some actually! It's a 34mm diameter. You could pick up a Savage XL complete flywheel and aluminum clutch setup off E-Bay cheap. Gives you plenty of room.

well I'm on my fourth tank now 3/4 throttle its a beast loving it so far...running it really rich right now when i lean it.

This is how i broke it in i idled it first tank drove it 1/4 throttle taking it easy then 1/2 then 3/4 so far so goood :)

It's time to get a somewhat clean tune on it. Slightly rich is ideal. Start slowly letting it rev out higher in short bursts.
Glad to see a smile out of this! I was worried with the fitment issues.

Ok bad idea using the lock washers was a big mistake the screws came out while driving it and messed every thing up i will prob buy a 15 tooth because i have a 14 tooth and it take off quite nicely i could get more speed i guess i will get a new engine mount as well.......!

If you need some longer, better screws LMK. Not trying to insult you, but you did use loc-tite on the screws right??? The lock washers should be ok under the engine, you may need a longer screw. You have real power now, it's probably going to rip that buggy apart.
Don't worry, the top end will come around 1 gallon. Did you ever pick up an 86 pipe?

Yeah i was thinking in my head hmm maybe i sould put some lock-tite on the screws but um i was ignorant and didn't so its really my fault lol. Never got around to getting a 086 pipe yet I'm trying to find a good deal on one.

Ok i got everything straigtened out use some peices of ziptie as spacers and i also used loctite and lots of it so they arnt going any where but one of the threads are stripped so i guess i got to get new mounts but its running well

If they are stripped out I would get new mounts, but don't go overboard on the loctite when you put them in.
You want enough to hold, but not so much that it becomes a royal pain to tear-down.

The 086 is a venerable pipe and one of my favorites.
Another good pipe that's often overlooked is the 9853.
Ofna calls their 10077.
I've scored them new as low as twenty bucks.
It's supposed to be "designed for mid range and bottom end performance", but in head to head comparisons for some engine/manifold combinations, it's actually outperformed the 9886 (aka 086).

The 9853 is good for 5 port engines, I agree on certain engines, like the Nova 5 ports they are brutal. This engine however does not like it. I took this engine with a long Ofna header and the 86 pipe, in a Picco buggy( HEAVY) and stayed right with GRP .21's with the 2053 pipes on RC8's. Flat out killed the Nova 3 port by a long shot, made it look like a puny 21 VG. Both guys where better drivers than myself, but on the straights the GRP would not get me until it started to make the rpm's it's designed too. Plus we're talking a pullstart engine vs. a bumpstart, no OWB weight or drag. Ceramic bearings vs. swiss steel in the Picco. Why you pay 150 more for the GRP. But acceleration was dead even to 35 mph on the track.
The 2053 is what came with the buggy, it was not a one piece pipe, but it was still a 2053 clone. It sucked in comparison to the 086 on the Picco engine.
If you want to see any of the newer 5 port engines make some seriuos power, the Sirio 2013 is awesome. Smoother but just as strong. It is overpriced and made from recycled soda cans i think... Dents up bad, way too easily.lol
Upgrade your mounts ASAP, you can easily crack a block with one stripped screw on a buggy. Make a better shim if you still need it, afterwards. Zip tie will not hold.
I'd bet Racer 1966 would make you one, just tell him how thick it needs to be. It needs to span the lengthand width of the engine mount tabs to prevent the bolt pressure from snapping the edge of the block mounts. All in all it's the best 100 dolar engine out there.
I beat mine to death for 4 gallons. New bearings at 2 gallons would have doubled it's life span.

That's them. Don't be afraid to file the inside of the mounts a little so you don't have to shim it up. My buggies and truggies where OK. I had to do that on the Savage though, axtually all Picco owners have to remove a bit of material to get them to fit a Savage engine mount. Maybe the newer Savage XL mounts have more clearance. Anyways, just rambling. The Savage stuff is not going to help you. Just telling you what Savage guys have done for years for Picco engines.

I have seen one savage mount that didn't need some grinding, not sure what model it was off of. All the others I have used needed material removed to fit properly. It doesn't need quite that much taken off, it was for my break-in bench.

Doubtful, it would probably hurt the performance. Be patient bud. Run what you have, it's too new to even worry about speed upgrades. Learn to tune and drive with what you have. The factories usually match the proper pipe with the engine they supply. Not always true...but some do. You need to put a full gallon through your engine before you even worry about these kinds of things. Save your money for replacement parts, A-arms, clutches, bearings, fluids and such. These are the things you need for your buggy first.
