I got a new soldering iron a while back. It’s pretty nice. Has adjustable temp but it’s on the handle that you adjust it with. Also has a chisel tip.

Mine also got adjustable temps but not sure whether the tip is stipl being made for this one? Would it be possible to make the tip sharper by sanding with dremel?

No don’t do that, you don’t want to remove the coating they have. Just get an assortment of tips from somewhere.
