Got my brand new Honda CRF 50cc today from Richard Miller Honda. I bought it Tuesday but they had to put the poop together and they also did the homie hookup since my friend is sponsored by them and they tuned the carb. Guess these engines are like our and you need to tune then go figure. I am glad my RC kowledge will come in handy. Just like RC's these things have more hop-ups than a T-Maxx. Everyone is making parts for the XR or now called the CRF 50 by Honda. I will get some pics tonight maybe of me crashing while practicing the wheelie!

WOOT WOOT WOOT WOOT!!!!!!

Just to give you an idea here is a stock CRF 50

and here is one that is in full racer gear.

They are small and hence the fun. You can supe them up. The first thing the honda shop did for me was put on my $200 triple clamp and big people's handle bars as the stock ones are too small. Second they had to switch the shock springs to heavier ones. Yes they are small and us big boys look might funny on them I am sure. They are all fun, from wheelies, to stopies, to major off-road and jumping. I can put the bike in the trunk of my car and go anywhere, just need a bugie cord to keep the trunk lid from flapping around. They are affordable, portable, and a blast to drive. Being small has it's advantages as you are already pretty damn close to the ground when you do fall lol! :dancin:

How old are you? My 7 year old cousin has the 100CC Crf and hes almost outgrown that already and hes like 4'7"..

I like the picks, It sounds and looks like fun. Shoot us some picks and vid when you get all setup. I never thought of trying to get on something that small, I ride around on my 1600cc Yamaha Roadstar, so I mite feel a little cramped on that. Have a blast dude and be carefull, I noticed some of those guys grabbin some good air.

LMAO I'm 26 going on 12.............

I think we need to see a picture of you on your new toy. Is the bike in the 2nd picture yours?

Sweet HB, they are fun! But awkward at first for an adult and you're not exactly petite. You can spend a fortune on it too. I didnt realize the factory has tricked them out stock with an inverted fork. What fork is on yours?

Oh, fyi everyone, tricked out honda 50 riding is a big fad in the last few years. It started with 100cc Honda backyard racing in CA several years ago, primarily at Langtown, a small back yard in Thousand Oaks.

http://www.powroll.com/race_LANGTOWN_2002.htm

Full pro motocross racers show up to race 100cc minibikes there. Then they started racing 50's too. I'm not sure what started the 50 fad, probably guys racing each other on their pit bikes at real races, or maybe Langtown racers wanted a funny pit bike for langtown. Now it has developed into a big business.

4 life! lol.

Ooh the custom welded 12oclock bar is not stock lol! It was fun for a minute but I am raping the inside of my leg with it and it needs cut off. So Scott my forks are stock except the springs in them. The CRF 50F is new they used to be XR 50's I guess it's really the same just with better graphics and plastics. It is fun and I am sure I wil have a few g's in it soon!

Damn HumboldtBlazer that bike is so cute. I think it is only wrong to sleep with your new toy if you make the wife sleep on the floor.

Cool beans dude,

Totally agree with ya, when you got them setup with the right bars they're a ton of fun for even 6'1" dudes like myself. Your a big dude BTW humbolt...lol. We gotta c pics of you on that thing bro..hehe.

A grown man on this kinda bike is nothing like a grown man on one of those Mini crouch rockets.

Dude I almost got wheelies and poop! I can ride them for about 25 feet consistantly. I practiced all day today and I can barely sit or walk or stand. What a great day. I love my 50.

This was the last Dirt bike I owned. Well this kind anyway. The last Street bike I owned, was a Yamaha FZR 1000.
It took a bad crash for me to learn the lesson off pain.
Be carfull with your bikes.

Nice bike dude. So you learned your lesson on dirt I'm assuming? I unfortunately learned my lesson on the road. I had a Suzuki GSX'R 750 and then I graduatde to the insanely powerfull "GIXR" 1000. My girl @ the time got me this sick ass Ducati Italian red and black leather riding/racing outfit on E-bay. Back then Ebay was relatively young and she got a sweet deal on this expensive ass Ducati suit. Anyway, I was doing 90 on Tramway(great road to speed on @ night in Albuq.) and I lost control of my bike @ around 80mph and laid the bike down hard. I was wearing my leathers and Helmet and slid for god only knows how many feet. I rolled and slid so hard that I wore the leather almost down to my skin. I also bruised the hell out of my body and dislocated my shoulder. Had I not been wearing the leather Ducati suit that all my buddies made fun of I would still be getting plastic surgery...lol.

They call Bikers (especially the crouch rocket boyz) Organ donors in the ER according to my Dr. Buddy.
