I haven't even built my NTC3 yet, but I came across a deal worth pursuing. I bought a RC10 GT Factory Team with a CV.12 (half a gallon of 10% through it- if it has compression I will consider it a bonus). Futaba FM radio, recharable RX and TX packs, and a bunch of other goodies for $200. This is the Factory Team ride with all the goodies already on it.

I am hoping to run it at the small indoor track that is not too far from my house, maybe even race it if I learn how to drive. hehehe.

Souds like you got a good deal, congrats, let us know how you like it.

nice ride, nitro dave. i have owned that truck, and used it at the east coast bash. some pics in my gallery, as well as elsewhere. it held up with the 8th scale buggies, a beast it is. the engine that u got is nice n reliable, but will get u spanked as far as racing. so make sure u upgrade if u plan on getting serious. great truck man, ur gonna love it. mine took one serious beating after another, and never gave me any trouble.

only thing i should warn u about is the battery wire. it likes to get chewed up by either the rear shock tower or the spur gear. make sure u either zip tie it to the rear bulkhead, or wrap it in some fuel tubing to protect it.

I know the engine isn't race worthy by any stretch, but it will let me run and practice which is where I plan on starting. I consider the engine expendable on any used RC anyway. If I get anything out of it, it is a bonus.

Thanks for the tip on battery wire, I will make sure I do that.

Was yours the Factory Team version. I checked your pics, looks like someone changed out the graphite shock tower for aluminum ones

yes - it was. that was me that changed them. i wanted a bit more beefiness since i was just bashing with it. upgraded to a titanium chassis too, plus alot of other things.

That's an outright steal of a deal. The kit and the FM Futaba radio alone would be worth more than what you paid.

Sounds like you got a good deal. I honestly think it'd be fairly competitive at Tacoma R/C Raceway since the track is almost all turns. All you really need is some decent torque to boost you over the jumps and you'd be fine.

I want to be able to run this winter...and it seemed like a good deal, The ST's that they were running the day we were there, looked pretty fun.
