I was just driving my ofna 9.5 pro and it took off outta control i dont know why but it fried the transmitter and the steering servo i was just wondering if anyone knows why this would happen and what i can do to prevent it from happening again>

Fried My Transmitter..Help?

I dont know why but my car just took off and smacked the shed in my back yard its an Ofna 9.5 pro when i checked it out it was really hot so i let it cool and looked at the transmitter and its melted i dont know what to do i think it fried my steering servo also can you help me ?

Not sure how it would fry the TX. Check your servo's first and your Receiver. YOu may have just damaged a part. Check all the electronics, Servo's, Crystals, Receiver.. Make sure first about those.

Generally a runaway is caused by your receiver or tranmitter batts getting low on juice.

You may want to make sure the batts are fresh or charged then try your electronics out again.

Also, get yourself a failsafe and for added insurance, install a throttle return spring.

Just to make this clear, a transmitter is the radio in your hand. A receiver is the unit in the car.
I think you need to clarify the problem.

I was thinking the same thing... I wonder if he is talking about his Rx(Reciever) not his Tx(Transmitter). I have never heard of a Rx melting before. I have ruined them with Nitro but never melted. I wonder if he had a Rx battery issue? That Rx should be in a box, which would, or should protect it anyway.
