i can't start my xxx-nt...need help ASAP!

so i was all happy today because i finally had everything to start my truck. about an hour ago, i went outside with everything. i filled the tank, put in a new glow plug (O.S. A3), put batteries in everything and put the truck on the starter box.
so i got the flywheel turning and i put the glow starter on the plug and it didnt start. i kept trying and nothing.
i dont know what the hell is wrong. maybe I'm doing something wrong, I'm a complete newb at this. the glow starter is powered by the battery in my ofna box. i saw sparks fly once in a while inside the head and i thought it would start. but it didnt.
i kinda flooded my engine because i turned it upside down and a little fuel came out. i hope i didnt fry my glow plug either because it was brand new and those things arent cheap.
well I'm gonna go out again and try to start it but i would like some peoples input on what might be wrong and what i should do.

banshee - u have been on the site for awhile now - u know better, lol. click the search function and type engine starting issues, or engine problem, or wont start. you will find TONS of threads answering the exact same question u just posted. not trying to be a peepee, but uve been here 2 months now.
