I Want To Get The New Xt2 By Xtm Or The Raze By Duratrax.
What Would You Recommend???

If you have a Hobbypeople I would go the XTM.

The Raze is rare to find parts locally.

THERE ISA HOBBY PEOPLE NEAR ME , PARTS FOR THE RAZE ARE AVAILABLE AT TOWERHOBBIES. HAVE YOU SEEN EITHER OF THESE BUGGIES PERFORM?

First off, turn off your caps lock. It is considered yelling and is hard on the eyes.

I have seen the XT2 at the LHS being broke in. It is a good starter buggy and will be for the dirt piles.

I do not race so I use a dated platform..the GS Storm.

If you get one it will be stocked deep in parts as it was just release about a year ago.

Go with the xtm. I have heard theat there pretty tough.

i have a raze its pretty sweet. even though most peole don't like duratrax. I've only broken three things since christmas. a steering servo, the servo horn (because my new servo had to much torque), and the pull start recoil. and i really bash with it. on my profile there is a pic of it off a jump. and it didnt even hurt it. even when i landed upside down. i would reccomend the raze but get whatever you like.

Id go with the XTM as well. Its more of a proven rig.

I don't know squat about buggies but I see one of your choices is a Duratrax......On that bit of info alone I would go with the other one.

Got the first x-term. It is a tank. Hell of a basher. But that is it. Not many upgrades for it.
My kid actually hit a guardrail wot with it. Knocked a couple of screws out and knocked the air cleaner off. We could've patched it and keep going.
The 24.7 motor is sorta out-dated. Don't think anyone here will bad mouth it though. Good engine for bashing and it is easy to tune.

Never dealt with Hobby People in person, but on-line they are great.

My first rc vehicle was a Duratrash. They will have to come a long way and I will have to see a lot more guys talking about them before I buy another.

I got my xt2 a couple of days ago and I love it:w00t: . I have been to the track every day since I got it. If anybody says ths buggy is only for bashing I will totally disagree. It handles great and has plenty of power. I can keep up with pretty much all the other dudes on the track except for the pros, some of their buggies are insane. It really matters about the driver.

XT2 is a solid rig for the coin and will serve you well. I am still bashing an old XTerm Pro and haven't killed it yet. I think you will be very happy.

Xt2 It Is!!!!

seems that more people recommend the xtm, thanks for everybody's opinion

I'm a little late, but I'd suggest the XT2 too, I had few of the earlier versions and they were very strong, great beginner buggy.
