hi i have put a couple of posts on asking about the hyper 7 but now i have seen the hyper ss instead looks really nice but i like the black 28 instead of the white 21 but I'm fed up of reading peoples thoughts on the 28 saying how bad it is and others saying its fine ????????????? so can anyone put this issue to bed once for all please thanks john:angry:

oh know just seen i could also get the hyper st to many bloody choices now what do i do i only have till friday to choose ss or st ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Ok there is nothing wrong with a .28 but the only issue you have is a bit moretorque than is needed in a buggy. Too much? It depends on what you are doing with it, most places will not let you race with a .28 but if you are bashing and just having fun, it is just fine. However from my experience a good .21 in a buggy will out run a .28 in the straights. Bottom line, if it is for bashing only...who cares, either will be fun.

Most .21s will rev a lot higher than the .28s. It is a bit like a motor cycle engine will rev higher than most car engines. Geared correctly the .28 can still hang but the .21 has the speed advantage for sure. This is becasue a buggy is lighter and has narrow tires so more RPM and slightly lower torque is an advantage. Now in a truggy with wider tires... oh yeah, give me the .28 for sure.

Joey is spot on. If your bashing who cares. If you want to run on a track (even if your not racing) the .21 will be more controllable and therefore more fun. If your not gonna be bashing on a track I'm not sure Id be looking at a buggy. Id go for something with more ground clearance like a truggy or a monster truck.
