Ofna has a video of it racing on the track, but it says "The page cannot be found" They dont really have much info on it other than pictures, so I can't really say much about it. It looks like a Hyper 7 pro.

If I got it, I'd grind down the back of that wing right when I got it because I think it looks stupid.

What are your guys thoughts?

I saw it at the track last night, Paul Coleman was racing it. Funky looking. He kept breaking the arms in the rear. Never even finished a qualifier.

Thanks, VB! Wow, after seeing that vid, the bump handling SUCKS, same with the jump handling. This doesn't look appealing at all.

Remember guys its still in testing and will prob differ big time compared to what we've seen.

lol, I thought that too....I think I'll keep my hyper 7 for now...

I do wanna get that airfilter tho, mine is too tall for the damn body, and that seems like it'd be low-profile enough...

Yep...looks like a Hyper 7 with the ugliest body and wing I have ever seen. Looks very very bouncy...

so based on what u see which one youd rather pick hyper pcr or this one?i think id stay with my pcr

It may look like the hyper 7 but the only things that are the same are the stone gaurds and the wing mount.
I was at the model expo in Birminghanm UK and had the pleasure of actually holding the H8 when it was first launched. It is far superiour to the H7. There are so many added features that I can't be bothered to list them.
I think the one in the vid is not dialed in for racing yet and I also belive the driver is probably a novice.

I own a H7 so am not dissin them at all. I love my bug.

It is a very very very very different rig. None of the parts switch out with the H7. It has a different front end, shorter shocks, different diffs, and the list goes on. I wouldn't count this one out until you see the production version. It is still in testing, and so far all the ofna guys are loving it, and the H7s are on the shelf.

I'm sure its a great buggy. I just don't like the body and wing :) Anyone know when it is gunna be available?

On the ofna forums, people are saying the rtr will be out by X-mas, and the Pro kit will be out come spring.

P. Coleman has been running one at Rev raceway with good results. I'm anxious to see one in person!

like always, some people just can't take the fact that the hyper buggy is a damn good buggy and again a lot cheaper than others, ohhh sorry ryan!!!, but i wasn't talking about u.
