I know a lot of people reccomend the Hyper PBS over the PCR, but why? I like the C-Hub because of the responsiveness. But is it weaker? I know the PBS has the hyper 8-port, and starter box.

So I guess my main question is? Is the C-Hub less durable than the PBS suspension?

I'm sorry if this question has been asked before, but It's late, I'm tired, and in the middle of a family emergency....

I think that for me the C hub is for more precise handling whereas the PBS is just straight BASHING AND JUMPIN!! I will keep the c hub in case I do break a pbs set up. I am sure that which is more durable is all relavant to the drivers taste and style.

My two cents

Jon

Funny that you ask for some help then complain about the help you get. Maybe you should say all that you want instead of disregarding the help you get and not even saying thank you. Yeah I can see now why I won't be helping you out anymore. :thumbdown :thumbdown :thumbdown

I thought you wouldn't be helping me anymore. lol. Anyway, Thanks man.

Just say thanks and move on.
You may find that a lot of people are friends of Jon on this forum, and finding help may become hard to find if you bust balls.

Thanks Ratzo! I don'tlike to hold grudges cuz its hard to cruise on the forum when you are avoiding someone. I don't like to ignore as sometime that person may post something you will need.

Anyways, I hope that helps you there CVEC7. That is strictly from my own experience with the buggy. Let us know what you do.

Well, I'm likely gonna jus get a hyper PBS off acehardwarehobbies.com for $440, then eventually, convert it to C-Hub. But, if I can ever afford a Kyosho, I'm goin w/ that.

hmmm.....I wonder if the WO4 is gonna make it into production......

Well, my Hyper PCR IS PBS. I also have a Storm with c-hubs and IMO, the PBS is much more suitable for an avid racer. The settings and fine tuning adjustments are infinite! With c hub, you're limited on some things to what hole you use. The PBS you can set it wherever you want in very small increments, not just where there's a hole. Also, The pbs is much faster to tune "On The Fly" than c hub setup. After having both, The PBS is definately MY favorite :)

I agree, most told me to avoid the PBS because it was hard to adjust but I have found it to be easier to adjust and have more range. PBS is tough and can be adjusted infinitely with little experience. So far so good on durability. Nothing has broken or even loosened up on mine. Very accurate turning with high tolerances. I like it.
