well i dont know about all you lot with hypers, but apparently its a common problem with the rear diffs conection with the pinion gear wearing out. and when you apply break, it slips. what can i do to solve this problem

:p:Milan:p:

already tried all that stuff, its almost like the plastic gear box gives way if you know what i mean,

I have 2 Ofna cars. One's a the Picco buggy, one is the CRT Pro. Neither have diff issues. One shim on the outside of each outdrive cup seems to work perfect. 3 shims in any configuration is too much and will side load the bearings.
If the bearings have any slop, replace them.

Sounds like your diff case might have worn out and needs replacing. They're not all that much, probably $12 at the most.

teah was thinking that, but i thought how can a diff case wear out? as long as the screws are nicely in place should be fine right. also, my cars transmission is quite loud too, but that might just be me.
