one of lightning pros at the track has a novarossi p5 in it. it's goes plenty fast. ;)

come on lets ease off the mine is better than yours thing, or i might have to join in and then it gets nasty.

RobH - what are the inferno's breaking?

And you sometimes gotta remember, a racers idea of abuse is completely different to a bashers idea.
"Oh I gave my bugggy major abuse, today I flipped over on a triple, AND hit the boards."

lol

I love the thought of launching 50+ feet and smashing into a tree. All the while, driving away

I apologize for intagonizing, I was just busting balls guys....

What is even more lovable than the thought is actually going out and doing it! :p:

No, I'm kidding, I'm a smart basher -- I check the flight path for trees prior to takeoff. However, sometimes metal posts have a habit of leaping out and hitting my buggy; I swear the metal posts over here are posessed.

Yeah I dont hit metal posts, but trees, well, yeah trees.......

I tried angrily at the bash to smash one tree and could not get it right! Had the distance, height, speed but my left to right was off..... Maybe next time! And DarthRacer is going to have to video it for me as Woodie doesn't live around here :(

intagonizing,

Chris, are u making up words again? what is this one, a combination of instigating, and antagonizing?

Peckerhead! I want to bump the bet to a 100 bucks on the December 21st Miami in Buffalo game now!

RobH - its all good man. I know your buggy sucks!

ahah u guys argue alot ur like a bunch of old ladies...

I say the best buggy is a Thundertiger Eb4... or a mirage v spec.

Haha.... mirage v-spec is seriously outdated (nicer than saying it sucks..) , and I wouldn't buy one unless I couldn't afford better..

EB4 is alrighty, but personally I wouldn't go down that road unless I was getting the S2 or S2 pro, both of which are neat machines. I'll assume you were reffering to them. :hehe:

yeah yeah sure you do. who left field's hobby shop with a Kyosho A-Arm? wasn't me. :stick: just jerking your chain man. that was insane jump that broke that a-arm.

man, i'd love to come back up there just to beat hell out of the two buggies. first one to broken looses. it would make for some sick vids.

Let me tell ya....I drive mine hard enough!!! Not to mention, I let me buddy drive mine this weekend, drove it WOT into a tree!!! Knocked my pipe off.

I have broken 1 upper susp. arm so far after 2 gals. with an 8-port!!! :ahh:
You're not driving it hard enough is that's the only damage after 2 gallons of fuel. My inferno has less than a gallon of fuel and a bent drive shaft from my first real bash session.

El, it's not that he hasn't driven it hard, it's simply that the buggy doesn't break. The Lightning Pro is a tank. I've had some nasty nasty crashes. I've lost eclip after eclip on my a-arms. i've lost screws from the steering knuckles. i've layed down some heavy abuse on the lightning pro. it doesn't break. that fact that smokey accually broke an upper arm surprises me.

i can't wait to see the chris's video from the bash.

this is a small sample of what i was doing with my lightning pro at the bmx track in buffalo:

oh yeah, didn't break anything. :D

I broke the lower, and you would have had to see the jump hehehe....

The upper I popped off because I had it adjusted out too far. However, that was a 2 minute fix. Nothing broken.

I'm still trying to figure out if I broke that A-Arm prior to the 50 foot launch. That last time I was running it HARD before the bash was 4th of July weekend. That was when I completed the Cadilac jump 18 times in a row. That may have been when I actually did the 'break' and at the ridge it just gave out.

Bottom line, RobH, if you continue to drive your buggy as hard as we were, you WILL break something...... NONE of them are bulletproof.

Land it wrong. Better yet, let me drive it for about 1 tank of fuel, it'll break, believe me.

LOL I bet you could. I have had plenty bad landings though. I know when I've had a hum dinger. That when i usually loose an eclip. The A-arm bends and flexes to the point that the eclip holding the lower part of the steering knuckle just jump off.
