elburro - wanna by an MBX2 roller? lol

Although i now have a GS Storm Pro, and will have an EB-4 in about 30 minutes, I would still have to say that if money was no object i would pick the Kanai II

Well if I had the money I would say Kanai II but I don't and my lightning has been nothing short of great! So if it is about price I say the HB pro.

inferno 7.5 kanai 2 ;)

if i only had the $800 for just hte kit, lol

but since i didnt

i got the sports

Inferno MP7.5

Buy whichever version that fits your budget - I can't afford to run KE2 either without blowing my bank so I run a regular :)

IMO, (this is completely personal so dont flame me) I think Kyosho always have had the best buggies out there, and for anyone with the money for them, they are the no.1 choice. Only if I didn't have money for a Kyosho would I go for anything else. Kyosho plastics just can't be beat.

And contrary to what most think, the Kyosho's are still the "poor mans kit" because once you've bought one (and neccessary gear) you need to spend little else to have a bulletproof and/or competitive kit.

But I guess everyone would have a different opinion when it comes to X vs Y vs Z etc, so I guess the bottom line is live and love whatever you own. :hehe:

I drove the Inferno and is great. But I think the Mugen MBX5 would have to be better.

Most of you guys know which one I prefer, but if you don't

Hot Bodies Lightning Pro

It's very similar to the "K" car. It has more adjustments than the standard MP 7.5 and more aluminium and is stronger. The Lightning Pro also comes in around $150 cheaper and includes a an engine.

I don't mean to start an argument. The Kyosho buggies are great and proven winners. If you want a comparable product at a cheaper price, however, check out the Hob Bodies Lightning Pro.

Tower sells the Pro version, but their information isn't correct. This is the best source of spec info:

I like my inferno but I am getting a huge bonus from work in a few months and I was thinking about building and ti inferno that might be able to survive anything I can dish out (not likely but I can always hope).

Stronger Rob? I dont know about that..... But hey, we all back our buggies now dont we?!?!?!?

:boxing: put up yer dukes. hehe. it's all a matter of opinion in the end. That doesn't change the fact that the experienced drivers at our track break their Inferno's faster than the novice drivers break their Lightning Pros. In fact, we have 3 Lightning Pro's at the track and none of them have broken stock chassis parts. They tend to loose an e-clip here and there but that's it.
