sadly ill be storing all my rides for the winter till next summer due to being really busy with school(College)..I put after run oil in all my buggies but my question is about my brand new sirio .27(not broke in) thats in my savage....will it hurt to let it sit for the winter or do i need to put after run oil in it too? all of these are being stored in my room.

Thanks

The manufacter puts oil in their engines when they leave the factory, but it usually isnt a lot, so after run oil is always a good precaution. I also have a sirio .27 and it is one sweet engine.

I would recomend putting you cars on a block or something... so there wheels dont touch the ground. That way your springs wont wear out faster.

I take my wheels and Shocks off for storage/travel and definately put some after run in mine too...I also found that the long milk crates (6 gallon) will hold buggys and MTS perfectly when you take the wheels off and set them under the chassis to hold it off the bottom of the crate and then you can stack cars on top of each other very easily...they also fit 3 touring cars side by side too....if your storing them in a place you go into a lot this system rocks cause your stuff is very protected....

cool thanks guys ill put their tires under them tonight so the springs dont have any pressure on them..

I wouldnt recommend putting your tires under your car, i also keep my rides off the ground with the tires on but for a different reason. i was told to keep them off the ground so that you dont create flat spots on your wheels.. find a small tough box or something to sit your ride on not the wheels. hope that helps:)

true I do only do that with my buggy cause the Rims mate up w/ the side of the tire so I don't think it will hurt them....Down here I guess we are lucky to enjoy the year round hobby enjoyment....But I still miss snowboarding.....and I use my starter box under my truck to hold it up and the wheels fit around it in the box real neat like.....

I lay the buggy tires on their sides flat between the flat part of the chassis and the bottom of the crate where i put a flat board so there are no impressions from the crate....if that makes it seem more safe to you...
