I have a redcat avalanche and I just got a new hump pack. I go to hook it up and it does not fit the connector . Is it alright if I just plug it in the receiver power slot? It powers it up but the on/off switch does not work now but everything else does. Will it be ok if I run it like this?

Yes. It's fine to run that way.

Why doesn't it fit? Is the battery plug wider than the switch allows? Usually, you can cut the pack connector from 3 to 2. Then it will work in a 3 or 2 plug if your careful. Or, if it has a flap on one side, you can cut that off too.

Ok thanks so much. I have the redcat avalanche xtr and it has big wheels on it what is a good strong servo that will make it turn fast?

Look at Savox, Hi-Tec or Alturn. You'll want a high torque one for the steering, but is also not too slow, depends what your budget is.
