hpi nitro mt clutch/spur gear

any one know that the gear specs are for this car. i am converting to electric and i need new pinion gear. for my lois xxx nt gear specs are 32p/20t for pinion gear. i am probablly going like 20t for the hpi as well what would the p# be?

HPI runs 1M pitch (1/8th scale) in the NitroMT. Thought it was 52/12 in stock form. Been a while since I had mine.

The spur was nasty brittle and with the chassis flex as well as the CB bearing with needle bearings and plastic cage, spurs and cb bearings wore out and broke a lot.

I would be willing to bet a little search and compare would result in a Robinson racing gear set that would be pretty much bullet proof.

Not without converting to the MT2 slipper, which I never did. The MT2 used the same spur as the savage's do. The original NitroMT had a very weirdly molded/vehicles specific spur in stock form.
