Hi,

I have bought a HPI Mt 2 Roller and a Nosram .18 evo engine.

Has anyone fitted one of these before?

I am unsure on what engine mounts to use. Someone on another forum says use a purple one thats costs £30.00!!!!!

Surely there is a cheaper way of fitting this engine?

Also does anyone know of anywhere where i can get uprated mt2 clutches?

Finally is it true that the RS4 2 speed box fits onto the mt2?

Thanks

I will post pics later;)

Thanks for the reply.

I managed to find the really cheap ones and ordered a set :(. Is it really that bad?

I have a g.30 3 shoe clutch set to fit.

My new problem is now:

I managed to open the collet slightly to fit it. Now i can't get the flywheel flush with it. Will this be an issue or once everything is bolted up will it be ok?

Thanks in advance

The flywheel doesn't have to be flush with it on the back. By opening it up, you've essentially made it fatter, so the flywheel won't go on it as far. It may screw up your CB/spur alignment though. I'd put the flywheel, bell and bearings on before fussing with the clutch shoes. Once you know the easy parts fit and line up right, then you can take the bell back off and put the shoes on.
