HPI Baja 5b Flux 8S

Yesterday i finally became the owner of a Baja Flux. It has been on my top 3 list for a long time and last week i bought this barely used one. Really happy with it.
And man these things are really large and beefy!

I am going to fully strip and rebuild it this winter, can't wait to get started.

Does anybody here have one? Some tips, things i should look into to?
It already has a Savox 0236 servo, offset hexes, motor cooling, HD shocks and MadMax tires.
I am going to add a BEC, some RPM bumpers and better anti-spark connectors.

His is electric.

I had the gas version of the 5B SS quite a few years ago. Was way too much vehicle for anywhere I had to drive, but it was fun to build... other than the ER visit I had when drilling through a board so I could use it to pop in the front pivot balls.

Thanks, it's electric indeed, 8S. Lenght is 900mm.
I'll take a pic tomorrow with the Kraton.

I have one. It started as a new SS and I did the electric conversion about two years ago. I haven't really had many issues with it besides letting the wife crash it into a metal T post at full throttle lol.
