Hey guys.

Just a heads up. When we started the RC showcase, it was meant to be a way to showcase your finished builds. Not as an actual build thread. They are two separate things.

The way it is intended to work is you toss up a regular build thread, then when you feel it's completed, you toss up a showcase. Then in the showcase you link to the actual build thread, and show off some of your favorite pics from that build thread in the showcase. It's not meant to be used for your actual build thread. Just to clear up some confusion 😉

The Showcase is basically a way for folks to click your showcase badge and be taken to an area where they can see all your finished builds, 'showcased' in a single spot.

Keep those builds coming! You guys are crankin' out some killer RC's!

Not one mention of Build Showcase above when talking about the RC Showcase, or Showcase. I understand the whole RC Showcase thing, but why insist on confusing people with the blue prefix name? Maybe take the "Build" out of the Build Showcase prefix and call the prefix RC Showcase?

The way I understand it... the "showcase" is to... well, show-off your build. Highlights of the build and a link to the "build thread".
Then you get the "rc showcase" badge.
I've been working on a showcase for about a week now. That's the only reason I think i know what you mean.
cheers

Will do on the next build, thanks for the info, definitely makes sense. And he might be wright about having build in front of showcase, if anyone is as half of a goon as I am and don’t read any directions, you just see build and badge and your in. Lol.

My Spider should be here today. I'll do a build thread when I start on it... just haven't decided if I should do it at @Tunedfrog or @Doom! speed... or somewhere in the middle like @WickedFog

:hehe:

That's a good idea @WoodiE

I didn't realize this, my bad.
No worries at all bro. I just saw that folks might be confused so I was trying to clarify it for you guys so you see how it is meant to work. I think Rusty has a good idea that would likely help.

Yeah yeah. There is work going. I'm just trying to get a good head start into the build before I post anything this time, because I'm slow as a turtle 😉

I figured build showcase = RC showcase (i.e., a completed project). I was wondering, can one add additional photos to an build showcase gallery? I couldn't figure it out (at least on mobile) and I have a few photos now just in the discussion, but I don't see them in the gallery.

Yes you can. Go to the Overview tab, click the three buttons to edit the item, just as you do a post, and at the bottom attach more files.

My method requires a bit of non-friendly, newly invented, sweat dripping off forehead, language. Are you sure you really are
considering my method?

Of course! I knew there was a way and I was being dumb. Cool, now I can add my completed body variations to my showcase ;)

I've already been using it for a few decades at this point... :hehe:

I'm Sorry SOOOOOOO sorry lol ( your old if your remember this phrase lol ) but seriously, It is abit confusing on build showcase vs the thread and how to do and what each is " to be used" for. Maybe a Option "button" once you start a build thread to publish to build showcase. I feel partly at fault for this thread seeing as I'm doing my MWM build and kinda spammed it with updates all day yesterday, So again sorry ...
