how to remote start from my controller

can anyone please tell me how to make it so i can remote start my nitro truck from my controller ?

First, it pretty much has to be a Traxxas or you're getting complicated and expensive. If you have a Traxxas, all you need is a spare channel on the radio, a Losi ROSS module and harness, and a 6 cell receiver pack. I have that setup on my Slayer Pro and it looks like it came that way from the factory.

Piece of cake, then. The ROSS harness is a near direct swap for the EZ Start harness, just have to change the glow plug to an OS (Traxxas plugs are a bit smaller), find a spot for the ROSS module and battery, and plug it all in. I used the radio box from a Revo with reverse for mine. Receiver (Futaba 4 channel) sits where the Optidrive thingy used to live, ROSS module is where the receiver should be, and the battery is in the usual spot with a 6th cell added. Everything just barely fits under the cover.

I considered putting everything on an aluminum shelf bolted across the chassis, but it didn't look clean enough. I'm a bit of a perfectionist.
