Do u know how much it will cost? And how far is South shore from me again?

I have no idea how much it'll cost. Depends on size, colors and whether it's vinyl or silkscreened. Remember the banner I had for NYC Hobbies on my EZup at prospeed? That was 7'x2' and cost about $170.

South shore hobbies is about an hour east of Cunningham park on the Long Island Expressway. South Shore Hobbies

Ok. I'll check around for pricing. I'll see if I can make a trip there this winter. What 1/12th do u have? Send me a PM since we derailed this thread.

I know you guys are on the east coast, but there is a company here that can do that kind of stuff. I could give you his contact info if you guys have any trouble finding a place.

Anytime But You Have To Thank The Guy Who Started The Thread.
 It Made Me Remember That Day

I forgot about that day till you brought it up again. Still have the scar though. I checked this evening in the mirror.

LOL... that is the funniest story so far!!! along with the scar!!! LOL.... for sure you will remeber the story forever... no need to have this kind of thread to let all of your friend to remember back!!! LOL.

i do hope that experience will teach all of us here a lesson or two...
1st - dont put sharp things in your pocket
2nd - if u did... dont forget to take it out.

LOL...

ONE ISSUE here... i just want to ask... CAN or CANNOT a MARSHALL move away from his station? let say he marshall a car/buggy that flipped infront of him. then realised that the car's engine has died. what he should do?
run to the track side and give the car to other marshall to bring the car back to pit or leave the car at his side without moving away form his station?

:) mop :)

you should remove the car from the track and hand it off to someone to take to the pit crew or driver. in club racing its not really a big deal but when the stakes go up, you really shouldnt leave. its not your responsibility to get the car back to the pits, its the driver's pit crews responsibility.

Yo J.C. What's up how is everything looking so far for next season.

Pay close attention to where you stand. The person directing the race usally will say where to stand, but sometimes people will still stand where they want, and nothing gets said. The track i race on is indoors. There is a couple of beams located in the track . there is a 90 deg turn. Then a double. Then another 90 deg turn on to the strait. With the beam being right before the double ,and a turn mashal standing next to the beam. your car disapers for a few seconds .Right when you need to line up for the jump . and it cost me 1st place. So just pay attention not to stand where the drivers veiw of the turns and jumps are not blocked .

Good Luck next time I hear ya I just hate it when a marshall stands up without thinking that he is blocking some critical viewing for the drivers & it cost you seconds & you lose 1st place by one second cause every time you pass that point where he is you slow down cause you can't see

lol it happens to the best of us diver, thats a good rule to keep in mind.."NEVER stick a reamer in your back pocket!"

sounds like a pain in the ass (har har)

All the marshalling tips sound good. What gripes my ass is when the fast guys think it's below them to marshal. Eventually you will find yourself in a qualifier after them. They either don't show up, or stand hand in pockets cause they have to. It ironic that the same guys are the ones screaming at the marshals.
