I got my hpi firestorm last saturday, I've broken it in and now I'm wondering how to get the top speed out of it, I've got it tuned nicely, but now i need upgrades to get it faster.

should i get:
a new clutch bell
tuned pipe
or what?

do you top speed and low end power. or just top speed you'll lose on of the two.

i dont mind losing a bit of low end speed but as little as possible, i mainly want top speed as the road i use to drive is very long

i can find bigger clutch bells for the firestorm in the uk but no spur gears, any ideas?

i found 21 tooth clutch bell but the minimum spur gear is 50 t

Take of as much weight as you can and a bigger spur and a smaller clutch bell I think its like that.

that creates more low end power and the ability to do wheelies easier. I don't really want to get into the mechanics of it right now, but basically the engine doesn't have to turn as much to spin the wheels with a bigger clutch bell and smaller spur, making it harder to turn the wheels at low speed but with more momentum they can spin faster.

Large clutch bell + small spur gear + large tires = speed
small clutch bell + large spur + small tires = acceleration

exactly. changing the clutch bell well at much more top speed than changing the pipe, but the pipe will still help. unfortunately, i don't know squat about pipes so ill have to let someone else take it from here
