How soon, Lotto poll.

I was just curious on what would be the best time to have a lotto.
This has nothing to do with the staff, nor was I asked to post this by anyone.
Just my curiosity.
If you can, explain why you voted the way you did.
If you want to remain anonymous , that fine too.

I voted for once a month.
This way, everyone can save a few $$ to enter, and it gives the staff time to come up with another item.
Also, it can give the staff an idea on how much money they can expect per month to keep the site running.

IMO once a month is good. Gives everyone time. Staff to wrap up the last one, and figure out the new one. Members to see it, save up, decide if they want in....

i picked every few months.. and heres why.. when times are rough it may take longer than a month for the lotto to sell out.. if we do it to offten then its gonna be harder on our great staff to come up with a good item.. they will start scraping the barrel and everone will loose interest in the loto.. plus if it does sell out quick and will be a month or so they can toss up a raffle like they had been doing.. some things that come out everone wants but there not expencive enough to be a lotto we could do like 1st 2nd and 3rd place raffle.. with prizes for each.. i know you guys will prolly look back and see i havent joined in on any of the lottos or raffles.. but i have to save my cash for when i break something.. once i get out of the job I'm in and get a real carrer with a decent paycheck then things will be different.. 3 nitros and house/car bills on 8 bux an hours stretches it..

Just a quick point.
It doesn't always have to be a big lotto.
It could be a dollar lotto for a hump pack battery.

Raffle, lotto, the same in my book.

I voted every month, but I think every other month would be cool. I think the lottos draw alot of people to the site. Waiting every 2-3 months would get long and everyone would be itching for a new lotto. I really like the small raffles too. Them are sweet!

I voted once a month for the reasons stated above... I think we should have a lot of small items in the lotto because the tickets are cheap, which allows the younger members who arent old enough to have real jobs (me and a lot of others) to get in on the raffles also. I would buy one of the expensive tickets, but its really hard to get money to save up for say, a servo (neeeeded part) as it is.... I am constantly saving up for things that I need + a few upgrades (rarely) that if I spend any of it on something else, it lengthens my non-rc driving time.

I also voted for once a month. FastEddy said that money spent torwards raffles/lottos can add up to membership dues. I think I have bought enough now to pay for some, but I can't remember a total. It would be cool if there was a way to show or keep up with money put into the site.. you know, kindof like pretend shares.

I will try to see if I can figure out how much I have spent torwards the lotto. I gotta know now.
