With fuel prices what they are how many miles you guys driving in a week? Anyone actually cutting back on driving b/c of prices?
Between my wife and I ,I only go around 150 miles a week, she drives around 600 a week so its right around 750 miles a week!! We usually use the same car, since we can, I work 3rd.

I already drove about 100 miles today alone, but I drive for business so it is paid for. Otherwise, unless I am in my DP, I must only be driving about 30-40 miles/week for personal. My wife works 6 miles from home, so she is about like you, PSU, about 60-70 for work commuting, and then another 20-40 weekends if she runs errands. We're at about 2.65 a gallon for regular unleaded out here, right now, so it looks like we might NEED to cut back, although I doubt it as we hardly drive much for personal anyhow. My beef is with the price of Diesel. It is the same or about up to a dime more than regualr unleaded, and to fill my DP coach, 100 gallons, at 6-7 mpg, a trip to Yosemite can cost me 500.00 in fuel alone.

Fortunately for me, I don't have to drive to work. I walk down the stairs to the workshop. I drive to go race my r/c's and/or play around. The company reps on the otherhand, drive about 150-200 miles on an average day. They pay their own gas and deduct at the end of the year ...

I'm in the 100-150 a week club. Work is 15 miles one way but I only work 3 days a week and don't go very far when I'm off. My wife does about the same as me.

My dad drives about 1,000 miles a week give or take... Then the damn traffic between here and San Fran...

I used to drive about 350 miles a week, but since school is out, i'm down to probably 100-150 miles. Most of that is on my motorcycle just going for a ride around town.

I was driving about 50-100 a week, going from the doc appointments and to the store for grocierys lol. But last week my Tranny blew in our Suburban so we are stuck at home untill my father in law fixes it. Luckly I had a almost brandnew tranny sitting around so I really lucked out!!! I used to work for a Terminex exterminators and I would drive up to 1800 miles a week!! lucky I diddnt have to pay for the gas.

Ha, I wish diesel was the price of regular! Its about .30 or more than regular around here, Lots of truckers up and down the east coast here so for some reason diesel has always been alot more$$$.

750 per week for me, and 150ish for the wifey. Luckily I drive my civic to and from work, I get about 37mpg with the honda.

I drive about 300 miles a week. My company pays for my gas though.

The $3 a gallon Ed and I saw in the city was the first time I have ever seen gas over $3. Could $4 be that far off?

I do about 600 a week for my commute to/from work and about 50 on weekends to bash spots/grocery shopping and whatnot.

My wife drives about 10 miles a week... she lost her job and is affraid to go to stores alone as she will spend $. Kind of like me anytime I'm near a hobby store. For some reason I can't walk by without throwing $100 into it...

Hey robmob/fasteddy, when I was at the West Gate of Yosemite three weeks ago, gas at the last stop was 3.84/gallon! Regular! Gougers!

RobMob and I saw gass in the city of SF at over $3.00 a gallon.
If it gets that high around here I'm going to have to get a moped lol our Suburban is a gas hog and it cost around 85 buck to fill the tank
