how long does it take to reach 2 speed on 3 evo

my cars great and it runns great and has been tubned but all that i am having problems is that it takes longer than my friend dan14 for my car to kick in than his

Does it switch to second gear at all? There is a little setting in the tranny box that you can adjust, so you can set the shift points.

Huh? Didn't know you set those! Can you set them on anything?

Dom, as to your question, konz is right on. There should be an adjustment screw (usually a small grub screw) in the transmission that allows you to set the shift points. Reference your manual for specifics, but it should be fairly easy to dial in.
