How about letting us know how you transport you R/C vehicles? Do you just toss them in the truck, truck bed or do you contain them somehow. Lookin for a good idea to transport 4 R/Cs, two are 1/8 and 2 are 1/10 (including a huge Savage MT. It to where my truck bed looks like I'm moving when I go out to run.

I use fishing tackle boxes for my tools and spare parts and cardboard boxes for, fuel, chargers, etc. and for the cars themselves I set the brake and toss them in the pick-up

I just put the tool boxes in the trunk along with the fuel into a box and then just put the trucks in the trunk and drive away to the track.

I do the same as these guys right now (throw the junk in the car and go). They do sell these "Hauler Bags". They are big enough to fit all your junk. I thinking about getting a bag like this so I can haul my R/C into work and then take it out and bash it durring lunch break... I know... I know.... I'm sickly obsessed by Nitro, but hell it makes me happy.

I don't know how good that one is but it's huge for the price.

NR, I have the Duratrax XL field bag. Not the deluxe like you posted. But I believe they are close to the same size. the only difference is the pocket on the side and the ones on the end. And I can't fit my Maxx or my GT in it. the only thing that fits is my NRS4. So if you're thinking of hauling something big, gonna hafta look bigger...

Associated makes bags big enough for MT's

I use a trinity pit hauler bag. it carries my ntc3 or my rc10gt with ease, plus all my pit stuff. I also have an overhead awning, and a portable picknick table, along with 2 portable chairs, and another portable work bench, lol.

oh yeah, and a generator, lol.

and novicerob - dont feel bad, there is a huge parking lot next to my office building, and i go bashing down there a lunch all the time. and almost everyday after work, haha. so your not the only one.

I'm glad I'm not the only freak that can't get enough nitro and wants to bach durring lunch.

This is the DuraTrax X-Large Field Bag:

SPECS: Length: 22.75"
Width: 13"

This is that DuraTrax X-Large Deluxe Field Bag:

Height: 12.5"

It looks like those pockets are the only thing different. The picture looks good but if you sit down and think about the dimensions, that isn't big enough. Thanks for the tip CandyMan.

the AE bag isnt much bigger - but says it will fit the new MGT, with the wheels removed.

Do any of you guys use storage bins to carry all of your seperate tool boxes, hauler bags, etc? I have a big bin with a lid on it that I put my tacklebox, my buggy, fuel, starter box, extension cord, etc. in. It has two handles on each end and two large wheels on one end of it. It's made by Rubbermaid (I think) and retails at Wal-Mart for around $12-15. Makes transporting everything from the truck to the track in one trip.

I use a Trinity Nitro Hauler to carry a gallon of fuel, fuel bottle, WD40, compressed air, transmitter, and EZ-Start w/ battery. I also carry a tool box that has everything else in it. I can make one trip if I only bring one vehicle. I have yet to find a bag that'll carry a T-Maxx and a buggy.

Ooooh....thanks for the tip on the storage bin FlyinRazorback. I will have to stop by Wal-Mart sometime this week and take a look. I thought making only one trip from the car to the track was a myth. I guess I was wrong. :)

Edit: I am reading thru my Radio Control Nitro mag (Jan 03) and on page 42 they show a Wing Tote Truck bag. They claim that it can hold up to a 1/8th scale RC. So it should be able to hold a T-Maxx or any type of TC with ease. The website is wingtote.com

Guess there is no easy way when you are lugging tools, parts, three trucks, fuel, starter boxes. I have to plan ahead and figure a half hour to just load / unload. Oh well, could be worse I could live in a highrise with no elevator:whistle: Thanks guys/gals whatever

I use a rubbermaid stoorage bin it dosent have wheels but it was only like 5 bucks and holds my tool box , xxx-nt, and my maxx just no gas and without bodies but I set those on top when I carry it so only one trip to the car for me.

I may be bit of overkill but my toolbox is just that, a Craftsman 10 drawer toolbox. I just like to have everything organized and be pretty sure if I need a tool I have it with me. It does suck carrying it to and from the truck but I'm getting used to it. I end up with the toolbox, two plastic milk crates (for fuel, battery, starter boxes and car pit stands, small folding table and chair, and of course a cooler with liquid refreshment. Just about fills the pickup bed....:ha

I put each ride in a seperate duffle bag and errything else in a bunch of milk crates in da trunk
