What is the best way to clean all the nitro exhaust oil off the chassis, rims, servos, ect...? my truck is only 5 days old and it looks terrible already, i realize that this is part of owning a nitro truck but i would like to keep it as clean as possible. and it would be nice to clean it before fixing the breaks!

I use a mixture of degreasing fluid (1/3), water & dishwashing detergent in a squirty bottle, hose the car down with it, let it sit for a couple of minutes & then blow it off with compressed air.
The detergent keeps the degreaser in suspension so it blows off easily & doesn't leave much residue, the detergent & water get the dirt loosened up & the degreaser takes care of the oil.
Comes up like new in about 10 minutes.

^^Good advice as well as learning how to use the search feature, many many techniques to doing so. Personally I use nitro and q-tips along with an air duster to blast it away.

I will be gentle on telling you about the search feature since someone thinks I'm a big meany head for laying the hot grill on them.

Hope this helps :D

Simplegreen in a squirt bottle and an airhose. You may wanna consider a full teardown/disassembly every once in a while to not only get into the nooks a crannies but evaluate everything you cannot see while completely assembled. Cracked and broken parts can wreak havok on a good running/driving rig

Ouch I just read the post about the servos. I see what you mean now that I've navigated the site a bit. Sorry and thanks for your help!

I tear off my electronics and engine, douse everything left in a mixture of Simple Green, Water, WD-40, and Denatured Alcohol....then hose it off with a garden hose. Then I blow it dry with my air compressor, hit it with another round of just WD-40 (to fend off any corrosion/rust) and let that sit for 5-10 or so....then blow/wipe off the excess.
