OFNA 120K will definitely give you wheelies! Like I had stated earlier, I ran 50K in my buggy and it would pull wheelies with an XTM24.7 in it of I hit a slight bump in the lawn. However, the 50K was plenty for me as a basher. I got very little front tire wheel spin in the lawn. It would take off like a rocket.

The reason the center single ribbed blade tire is good on the front of the jato is because the jato isn't 4wd. With 2wd and more power/torque than a 1/10 2wd stadium truck can handle, the front tires are barely ever touching the ground. The two speed adds so much low end grunt that it's almost doing a wheelie all the time. This causes very little steering traction.

I think with 4wd, running 4 paddles in the sand will give you damn good steering and acceleration. I'd at least start with 4 and if it doesn't work as well as you had hoped, but some other aggressive tread on the front and use the second set of paddles for the rear as spares. With rims, your at $30 a set. $60 will get you what I think you want in the sand.

As for something aggressive if you want a bit more steering in the sand, Pro-Line BadLands will get the job done. I run two of those on the back of my jato for running in the grass... WHEELIES!!! It's hard to get good traction in grass with the jato since it sits so low and kind of floats on the grass. These tires dig in and launch the poor thing like a rocket is up it's butt. They suck on pavement, but I don't really run them on pavement as it would chew them up in a few tanks.
