i want wheelies! my new engine is soo powerful and has a lot of torque but it wont wheelie! i tried raising the buggy's height to the maximum but still no wheelies! if i push down on the spoiler it will wheelie for a second but then flip over...right now i raised the front as far as it goes and put a lot of those ring thingys on the spring! should i lower the front and raise the rear?

Guessing you have a center diff? If your a basher, throw some 50K silicone oil in the center diff. I got occasional wheelies with my Jammin XB buggy running an XTM24.7 in it with 50K in the center.

Maybe a brick on the spoiler??

I would say raise the front up a little and keep the rear level. Also do what old said to your center diff. Good luck

Okay you have a buggy. It won't wheelie. The center diff will not allow it. What is going on is when the Power transfer from the engine to the tranny (center diff) the front will start to lift but the diff will transfer the power to the spot of least resistance and make the front tires spin and grip not allowing the back tires to spin will all the power. If you want wheelies get a MT. You might be able to put some REALLY heavy oil in it but still, it's a buggy. It was made NOT to wheelie.

Like was said, 1/8 buggies have been made to NOT do wheelies! I guess 50k or silly putty on the center diff, and or pulling the front dogbones/uni's out of the front.

Pulling the front dogbones/Uni's outta the front would make it not even move at all. The center diff would transfer all the power to the spot of least resistance and would never even give power to the rear wheels.

True, duhhh on my part! Well, pilly putty in the center diff and dissable the FWD may do the trick. Basicly "locking" the diff.

On a side note.....why do you want to do this? MANY MANY hours have been spent desigining a buggy that will hold the track like on velcro, and you want to negate this? Personally if you want to wheelie, go get a Stampede!

That is very true, unless you put silly putty in the centre diff as was suggested. Then maybe, but jeez louise, buggies will NOT wheelie with any regularity, so as suggested ditch it and get a M/T
