I know the constant debate of nitro rc10 vs xxx, but what about the 4wd tr-15? I want a fun backyardbashing/occasional race buggy that can do (and survive) my t-maxx track jumps, and provide the sharp handleing of a buggy. This kit here

comes with a .15 engien for a reasonable price. Wouldn't the 4wd be a big advantage over rc10/xxx?

We had a guy come out and drive one around on practice, seeems like it was better than a truck, but nothing to write home about. Looks like they used a onroad chassis and tossed some offroad tires on it.

think about parts , I have been in several hobby shops all around Florida, dont think I have seen one with any kyosho parts at all, and trust me, for that car,, you will need parts! spend the dough and get a rc10gt or xxxnt, youll be glad you did!

The TR15 is Kyosho's answer to the 1/10 scale world of buggies. In my opinion they did a half ass job of it. While I will never knock anyones ride, I think you would be much better off with a proven design.

The 4wd is an advantage but the chassis design and quality of parts just doesn't seem to be there as compared to the rc10 or the xxx-nt. If you not going to race theres always a 4wd stadium truck instead of a buggy.
