Inferno MP 7.5 with O.S. RZV 01B and Rossi Pipe.

Attempted to break it in last week and quickly realized the needle settings were Waaaaayyyyyyyy off! Today, found the factory settings, broke it in with about 6 tanks and man all I can say is HOLY poop! This thing is a SCREAMER! I wasn't buying into the fact that a single speed could get up to 50+ but now I am a believer! A couple more tanks and I should be able to get high 50's out of it! All the while, I never hit a temp over 160!!!!

You bought your self a brick. Guy at the LHS got hit with one and shattered his ancle in 9 pecies

LOL! A brick! I HAVE NEVER called yours a brick, but, well, now....

Yeah they go VERY fast! 8th scale buggies are no joke. Can be VERY dangerous as well. I double, triple and quadruple check my EPA's and Failsafe settings etc. Dont want a runaway!

Yeah a run-away will be VERY scary and will cost $.

I wish you were close because I bet I could take you with my Storm Pro with Fironi diffs and Sirio .21 racing engine! Congrats on the Inferno I'm jealous because I didnt sink the inital dough and get that kit. I have spent just as much now making my Storm RTR a pro model.

Yeah Christian, I just got a Ofna Hyper 7 pro with a O.S. RG-21 and even thought the motor is still the lowest rated hp out of the OS bunch I was still just ripping guys apart at the track this last weekend. I too can't get over how damn fast and durable these things are. The only problem I had was 1 broken shock shaft and 2 stripped out steering knuckles this last weekend and the guy at the counter told me that was a problem with the ofnas and he tried to get me to sink $65 into a set of CNC steering knuckles but I didnt have the cash so I had to settle on the cast pair. But on another note a buddy of mine stripped out a knuckle on his MP 7.5 so it may be a buggy problem in genral. Anyway best of luck to ya!

I only ended up losing a set pin for the shock. Found a 3x30 set of four for the savage so I used them as replacements. I forgot to install the set screws that hold the front ones in. Cool part was I didnt have to wait for replacement parts. I dont have an LHS in Buffalo that keeps parts for the Inferno on hand. Oh well.

Still is a blast with this thing. If it stops raining I hope to get it out today again!

Yeah they are fast as hell!!! but when u lose it it just shatters.. lol... have fun with it and just waite ill havto race you some day... well see whose buggy is better!

Hehehe - hands down the Kyosho is BETTER in the box, HOWEVER, the real question is who is the better driver. Id probably whoop ya with either one lololol

That mp 7.5 sounds SICK christian. I want one. I dont have enuff money to get one but my friend is getting a ofna. Do you think those are fast. I think its some crappy ofna model. Its got a .21 but i think i can take it on a straight. I have a rusty and getting 22t clutch and new stronger yolks with onroad and offroad wheels. Proline body and motor saver air filter.

the more I read about these buggies the more I want one. :D They cost some serious $$$ though.

ouch...truth has a bit of a sting sometimes. Shouldn't Retread know that sales posts belong in the for sale/trade section?

I dont really know of a crappy buggy either. They can all be made or hopped up quit well. I just picked the Kyosho due to its popularity, reliability and field reports.

Whats the matter with Ofna's? I just picked one up and went racing with it for the first time this last weekend and placed 1st in the first qualify (then we all got rained out) and beat 2 7.5's and a mugen mbx-rr. So far I'm the only one with an Ofna at my track but I can just walk into the hobby shop and get parts where as everyone else has to order theirs. I must say I am truely impressed with my buggy.
