Hi guys. I have a bunch of used cars that I bought with hop-up. Some of them are actually good like proline shocks for example, but I would say 80% perform worst than factory parts. I have couple examples.

eBay shocks.
If you don't want to watch whole video, you can go to 1:30


400+ $ gpm all aluminum infraction
Go to 2:30


And last, eBay driveshafts. Bought slash 3 or 4 years ago, only 2 runs during summer, never seen snow, it was sitting in my room. Besides rust, turning radius is like half of the stock plastic shafts, and axle is bigger so you have to drill wheels.

Yeah, people upgrade parts that don't need upgrading with parts that shouldn't exist.
I see it in crawlers mostly.
