Hoop ups for my new truck!

Where should I look for hop ups. Like I want some sort of sealed rec. and batter box for my 10gt. I would also like a different chassis then the tub that it has right now. Point me toward the place to go to buy things. Also, what about a different head for the os cv that it has right now? I'll probably just go with the stock tie rods and hinge pins, and when they break I'll do Ti stuff. I may do somthing like shock towers chassis and a couple other things in aluminium right away.

Let me know guy's, I can't wait to get going here.

Brandon

P.S. I hope the title change gets you guy's in here!

 I still want some sort of battery box for the back of the truck though. It seems like I've seen somthing somwhere, but I can't remember. Somthing for the reciever too! Any leads?

Brandon

you think the new era double decked chassis would be a good buy?

There is a box for the Rcvr - I have one. Gimme a minute to find the link.

As for the batts. u should move them anyway, thats a crappy spot for them. Best way to do it is to move them up front, and use a 5cell 1200ma flat pack. Lowers the CG tons, and enables u to remove that back holder. U dont need to seal them, as the rechargable packs are already sealed.

Here is a link the the Receiver Box. Its made by RPM

I was hoping for somthing metal, but I think that will have to do. So where do you move the batts to? any pics?

Brandon

that box is as good as metal - its pretty serious and WILL NOT break.

I dont have any photos of the batteries. But its pretty common sense. Just move them up front anywhere they will fit and attach them with two pieces of double sided foam tape.

Is there anything else I can help with?

I'm sure once I get going I'll have a ton of questions. I'll shot some pm's towards you once I can find some stuff I need help with.

I'm going to the lhs tonight afterwork to buy, some aluminium stuff, a couple glow plugs, feul, and maybe a battery pack or two.

Anything else I need to pic up?

Brandon

Make sure you get rechargables for your transmitter and rcvr, makes life alot easier. And get the good ones, they will last all day. as for glow plugs, stick with OS A3's, for fuel, if u are just playing and not racing, get blue thunder, it runs nice and cool - and i would recommend having a backup glow starter - nothing worse than spending all day trying to figure out why your mill wont fire, and realizing that the glow plug starter is dead. hope this helps.

Thanks guys. I tore the motor apart last night, In order to make sure everything looked ok and put some silicone in some places.
