Hello! i have a question
Can i run my hobbywing SC8 120A esc With Skyrc Toro X8 Pro 4268 2150kv motor max amps is 116A

Could it work? Yes. But not the best, and might be risking the esc. The esc is only rated at 120A and the motor is pulling 116A so the esc is gonna get a bit hot. I wouldn't run the car for more than 5 to 10 minutes at that. Or if you add a powerful fan to both the motor and esc you might be able to run for a bit longer. Who knows.

I would get atleast a 160A + esc to handle that motor.

I would not as davis has said ..just taking a risk..Ill break it down a tad more..servo gets its power from esc so does esc...running that motor on said esc would be a risk..over heating and then esc failure

ohhhh thank you so much i will buy hobbywing 8bl150 and it can run with the 4268 motor right?

I've been using EZRun WP-SC8 speed controls in 1/8 scale buggies for years (since 2016?). Still have one in my 2020 EB48 2.0

I even used an EZRun WP-SC8 on a monster truggy for awhile...

No problems for the ESC. It was the motor that was not enough for the Kraton. I moved on to a 6S setup. But I still wouldn't recommend the ESC for a monster truggy... I just happen to have them laying around from my RC8.2 & Yeti days.

The manual and Hobbywing's website state that the WP-SC8 is suitable for 1/8 scale SCT/buggy applications.
